Catherine Hunt, 74, of Conneaut, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday evening, August 13, 2017. She was born October 12, 1942 in Conneaut, the daughter of Adam and Mary (Manz) Roland, sister to Marie, Virginia, Carol, Betty Ann, and Marge. She was a lifelong resident.

A woman of many talents, Cathy was employed at the Astatic, (later CTI), throughout her life enjoyed dancing, fishing, knitting, crocheting, yard saling, and caring for animals.

She treasured the love of her life, her husband Jim, of 39 years. An amazing and dedicated mother, Cathy loved her children Michelle (Carl) Phillips, Melissa (Jude) Unegbu, Steven Tredway, and Diane (James) Anthony. She cherished all of her grandchildren Kenzie, Logan, Sophia, Gavin, Danielle, James, Zachary, and Diana, they were the light of her life. She greatly loved her friends, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son Steven; her sisters Betty Ann and Virginia; and her niece Susan.

Graveside service will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 17, 2017, at Glenwood Cemetery, Rt. 20, Conneaut, with Rev. Kenneth Roberts of  Ashtabula Pentecostal Church of God officiating.

Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery and also at the Marcy Funeral Home, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut.
