Codi S. Helton-Coffin, 23, of Plymouth Twp, passed away peacefully at her childhood home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Codi was born July 21, 1994, the beloved daughter of Dorothy “Duffy” (Wright) and Gary Helton.

 She graduated from Edgewood High School in 2012 and was attending Kent State (Ashtabula Campus) majoring in business. While attending college she also worked in the garden dept. at the Madison Walmart and in her pass time enjoyed to cook.

Codi is survived by her parents; her husband Devon; sisters Brooke (Kraig) Bish and Brittny Rowland both of Ashtabula; maternal grandparents Suzie Sweet of Conneaut and Chip Sweet of Lantana FL; paternal grandparents Marge and Rollie Helton of Ashtabula; niece Ryleigh Bish; nephew T.J. Rowland; and mother-in-law Dawn Mestrovich of Seattle, WA  and father-in-law Zane Coffin of Geneva.

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 Monday, Aug. 14, 2017 at the Ashtabula Pentecostal Church of God, 2221 Cook Rd., Ashtabula, OH 44004 with Rev. Kenneth Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Gageville Cemetery.

Calling hours will be from 12:00 PM until the time of service on Monday.
