Denise C. Cox, 55, of Conneaut, passed away peacefully in her sleep Friday July 28, 2017 at her home. She was born August 24, 1961 in Christchurch, New Zealand, the daughter of Adrian and Ilene Kauyf.

Denise has been a Sgt. for the last seventeen years at Corrections Corporation of America, formerly Lake Erie Correctional Institute.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, David C Cox and son Christopher Cox whom resides in Middletown, OH.

Preceding her in death are her parents.

At her previous request there will be no services.
