Francis H. Thomas, 77, of Conneaut, passed away Friday July 7, 2017 at UH Case Medical Center in Cleveland.  He was born December 28, 1939 in Cumberland, MD, the son of Gerald & Virginia (Beeman) Thomas.

Francis served in the US Air Force obtaining the rank of E-3 before being honorably discharged.  He worked as a maintenance mechanic for Union Carbide and then retired from Elkem Metals on December 31, 1995.  He loved hunting, fishing, NASCAR, cutting the grass, watching Westerns & NCIS the Indians and his family.

Survivors include his wife Janice (Wright) Thomas; children, Wade Thomas of Hollywood, MD, Tharin (Carmen) Thomas of Pasadena, MD, Angela Mitchell of Conneaut; grandchildren, Danielle (Nick) Voegli, Kayla & Sarah Mitchell, Tharin, Jr., Gabriel Thomas and Emily Campbell; great-grandchildren, Izabella, Braelyn & Annabella; sisters Joanne Vosburg of Ashtabula and Jean Thomas of Andover.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Jane.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
