Norman Dean Fritzsche, 86, of Conneaut, passed away March 14, 2018 at Lake Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born October 19, 1931 in Mt. Olive, IL, and was the son of Edwin and Marguerite (File) Fritzsche. Mr. Fritzsche was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked for RMI as a cell-feeder retiring after 31 years. He enjoyed small engine repair, alternative power, and tinkering around. Survivors include his wife Barbara (English) Fritzsche, whom he married on December 8, 1956, his children Edwin (Judy) Fritzsche of Lowell, NC, Cheryl (Strange) Fritzsche of Conneaut, Dave Fritzsche of Ashtabula, and Dean (Angela) Fritzsche of Conneaut; his sister Karen (John) Sanders of California; and 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral service will be 4:00 PM, Saturday, March 17, 2018, at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, with Pastor Jan Walsh officiating. Friends may call from 2:00 until the time of the service. Burial will be held in Greenlawn Memory Memory Gardens Monday, March 19, 2018, with military honors rendered by American Legion Cowle Post 151.
