Bryan Owen Edwards, 17, of Conneaut, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017. He was born March 25, 1999 in Ashtabula, Ohio, and was the son of David and Heidi (Lynch) Edwards.

Bryan was a senior at Conneaut High School where he was on the National Honor Society and a member of the band playing the French horn. He attended A-Tech where he was studying public safety. Bryan was recently accepted to Liberty University in Virginia. He worked as a Merit Badge Counselor at Beaumont Scout Reservation and held several other duties, and had been a Tender Foot with the Boy Scouts Troop 34 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ.

Bryan was a member of the Lighthouse Free Will Baptist Church in Conneaut, where he was worship leader. He enjoyed music, being with his friends, and working at Ghost Lake Haunted House at Conneaut Lake Park.

Survivors include his parents David and Heidi Edwards; his sister Storm Edwards, his brother Cody Edwards, all of Conneaut; his maternal grandparents Sean and Vicki Lynch of Erie, PA; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Joyce Neal; and maternal grandmother Evelyn Lynch.

Funeral service will be 6:00 PM, Sunday, March 12, 2017 at New Leaf United Methodist Church, 110

Gateway Ave., Conneaut, with Pastor Matthew Sury of Lighthouse Free Will Baptist Church officiating.

Friends may call at the church from 2:00 PM until the time of the service at 6:00 PM.

Private burial will be held Monday, March 13, 2017 in Glenwood Cemetery.
