Dagmar E. Bozard, 98, of Conneaut, passed away Saturday June 10, 2017 at The Villa at the Lake. She was born April 12, 1919 in Conneaut, Ohio, the daughter of John & Fannie (Pitkimaki) Antin.

Mrs. Bozard enjoyed over 35 years of retirement with her husband.  They took ballroom dancing lessons, organ lessons and enjoyed roller skating together.  She was a member of a church circle at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, historical society and a canasta club with high school friends.  She enjoyed traveling to visit her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Gaylord of Conneaut whom she married March 5, 1944; daughter, Carol Sheppard of Gadsden, AL; grandchildren, Colleen, Jeffrey & Kevin McGraham, Trenton & Chelsea Sheppard; great-grandchildren, Caden McGraham, Jocelyn & Braden Sheppard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, children, Gerald Bozard & Diane McGraham; siblings, Carl Antin, Margaret Sundstrom & Edith Wheeler.

Service will be held Monday June 19, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Marcy Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St, Conneaut, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service.

Interment will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
