Janet L. Woodworth, 81 of Conneaut, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Aug. 7, 2017 at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home in Kingsville, OH.

She was born December 13, 1935, the daughter of Tony and Mary (Dello) Julio.

Janet graduated from Conneaut High School in 1953. She married her husband, Roy Woodworth on August 25, 1956.

She has been a lifelong member of St Mary’s Catholic Church, Corpus Christi parish where she was a Sacristan for many years. Her life was filled with many activities including being a member of Tops Ohio #971 where she was named chapter Queen in 1994.  She enjoyed playing the organ, listening to music with her late beloved husband Roy, and watching ice skating.

The most important thing in her life was her family. She helped raise her grandchildren, watching them while their parents worked and attended a majority, if not all of the grandkids ball games at CLYO. In recent years, she was able to spend precious time with her great grandchildren, loving each of them deeply.

Survivors include her daughters, Karen (Tom) Picard, Toni (Robert) Wheeler, Belinda (David) Adams all of Conneaut and Renee (Cam) Murchison of Waterdown, Ontario; grandchildren, Lisa (Curt) Distel, Lori (Jon) Distel, Jason Picard, Renae Picard, Roxanne (Gary) Tantari, Troy (Amanda) Adams, Deakan Adams, Michele (Bobby) Nelson, Maria (Cody) Thompson, Justin Murchison and Jacob Murchison; great grandchildren, Matthew, Katie and Ethan Adams, Ayden Tantari, Wyatt and Delaney Distel, Robbie, Jonny and Kristiana Distel, Brody, Brenna and R.J. Nelson, Shane and Ryan Picard and Megan Webber; sisters, Theresa Demarco, Mary Jane Adamack, and Shirley(Bob) Warren all of Conneaut; brother, Tony “Bugsy” (Norma) Julio and many nieces, nephews and more distant relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roy in 2015 and a sister, Doris Copple.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00AM Monday, August 14, 2017, at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Corpus Christi Parish, 480 State St., Conneaut, with Fr Raymond Thomas residing. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 PM., Sunday, Aug. 13TH, at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St, Conneaut.
