Linda S. (Rea) McFadden

Linda S. McFadden, 68, of Conneaut, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019. She was born September 26, 1951 in Corry, Pennsylvania, and was the daughter of Robert and Arlys (Greene) Rea.

Linda was a graduate of Girard High School and worked at Brown Memorial Hospital in housekeeping, the Ashtabula County Nursing Home as an aide, and she also worked at Transplastics.

She was very active as a drummer for a country western band, bowling in a league for many years, making ceramics, crocheting blankets and making slippers for anyone who asked, but most of all her heart was most proud being at CLYO watching her four sons playing baseball and was known as the legendary score keeper.

Linda is survived by her mother Arlys Rea of Cranesville, PA; her husband of 44 years William; four sons Tim (Heidi) of Binghamton, NY, William of Conneaut, Mike (Holli) of Ashtabula, and John of Conneaut; grandchildren Zach, Nathan, Danica, Trinity, Tara, Devion, Jadyn, Jacee, Shane, Teegan, Alyssa; two great-grandchildren Hunter and Gracie; brothers Jim (Linda) of Cranesville, PA, Bob (Sonia) of North Carolina, Ed (Naomi) of Girard, PA, and Darin (Carolyn) of North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her father Robert; and sister Cynthia Rea.

Linda’s family will receive friends on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St. Conneaut, OH. 44030, which has been entrusted with arrangements.
