Marjorie S. Lower, 95, of Kingsville, passed away February 13, 2018 at ACMC. She was born January 22, 1923 in Sheffield Twp., she was the daughter of Laverne and Eva (Cherry) Morrison. Marjorie enjoyed the farm life and raised seven children. She found pleasure in gardening and in the greenhouse. She loved country music and hearing her children play at the Lower family band dances. Her hidden talent was the harmonica, no one knew she could play. She kept everyone warm with her handmade crocheted slippers. She enjoyed going with her husband running for farm parts and going out to eat. She lived for watching her family grow and being a part of their lives. Survivors include her children Jean (Larry) Cole of Kinsman, Darlene (Bob) Sergeff of Kelloggsville, Gary (Nancy) Lower of Pierpont, Jerry (Cindy) Lower, Randy Lower, and Buddy (Holly) Lower, all of Kingsville; daughter in law, Susan Lower of Pierpont; 18 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Frank Lower whom she married December 6, 1941, the day after Pearl Harbor; her son Larry Lower; grandson Jeffrey Stump; granddaughter, Annie Mason; and her siblings John Morrison, Alfred Morrison, Lillian Griggs, Gordon Morrison, Laverne Morrison and Elsie Morrison. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday at the Marcy Funeral Home, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut., where family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time of service.
