Patricia Elaine (Johnson) Kudlock

Patricia Elaine (Johnson) Kudlock, age 77 of Conneaut, Ohio passed away Saturday afternoon May 18, 2019 at home hand in hand with her daughters. 

The daughter of Edward and Marzella (Morgan) Copeland was born April 30, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio.  She was a graduate of Ashtabula High School and retired from Premix in 2005 where she worked most of her career.  

Pat was a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, aunt and friend.  She was a caregiver first and foremost always focused on caring for her children, family and pets whom will miss her deeply.  She loved playing board games, putting together puzzles and walking with her sister Connie and daughters Patty, Corrine and Char.  During retirement, Pat frequently packed up her minivan with her dogs and traveled to and from Florida and Texas to spend time with family and escape the Ohio winter.  Her visits and phone calls with laughter, joy and plans are already missed beyond words.  We all have the most beautiful memories of her that we are lucky to hold in our hearts.  Over the years she has taken on several hobbies including collecting dolls, crocheting and sewing which she loved to do in her free time.

Surviving family include children Chris Sargent, Brenda Sargent, Bonnie Greer, Patty (Farrell) Bryson, Corrine (Kudlock) Ogdee and Char Kudlock.  Children-in-law- Mandy Sargent, Craig Bryson and Keith Ogdee.

Siblings include Connie Merlene, Ed Copeland, Sharon Hakkarainen, Claudia Hakkarainen and Beth Sparks, brothers-in-law George Hakkarainen and Jerry Sparks, and sister-in-law Mary Copeland.

Surviving grandchildren are Camille Kathleen and Claire Elaine Ogdee; Matthew, Megan, Miles, Morgan and Nicole Sargent; and Joe Greer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Kudlock (passed March 15, 2013) who she married July 14, 1979, parents Edward and Marzella Copeland, sister Melodie Conley and granddaughter Melissa Greer.

Calling hours will be held from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Marcy Funeral Home, 208 Liberty St. Conneaut, Ohio.
