Richard Jenkins Obituary
Richard M. Jenkins, Sr., 91 of Monroe passed away Friday July 19, 2019 at Lantern of Saybrook Assisted Living. He was born March 15, 1928 in Clifton Forge, VA. The son of McKinley and Carrie (Beverly) Jenkins.
Richard worked for Motch and Merryweather for 37 years in Euclid as a service engineer retiring in 1997. He enjoyed traveling, vacationing and working on cars.
Survivors include his children Wenonah Chonich of Jefferson, Richard (Debbie) Jenkins, Jr. of Estero, FL and Wanda Albright of Monroe Twp.; two grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a brother, Clarence ( Clementine) Jenkins of Amherst, VA
He was preceded in death by his wife Martha, twin brother’s infancy and another brother infancy and a brother Felix.
A private burial has taken place at Kelloggsville Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the Lantern of Saybrook and Hospice of the Western Reserve for the care and compassion of their father.
