Robert M. Wheeler, age 83 of Sellersburg, IN, formerly of Conneaut, OH and Haines City/Clermont, FL, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 27, 2017.

He was born to Eulah (Braden) and Bernie Wheeler on July 18, 1934 in Conneaut.

He was formerly a member of The First United Methodist Church in Conneaut and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. He enjoyed fishing, flea marketing, dancing, especially polka dancing, helping as a Mr. Fix-it for his children and grandchildren, traveling, meeting friends at McDonalds and family time.

 He is survived by his wife, Loretta (King) Wheeler; sons Bruce and Robert (Toni), daughter Beverly Dalheim and step-daughter, Kimberly Ellingsen; Grandchildren Lisa (Curt) Distel, Lori (Jon) Distel, Patrick Dalheim, Matthew (Alix) Dalheim, Lauren (Dave) Jackson, Joseph Wheeler, Miranda Cope, John Cole and Karsen Ellingsen; Great-grandchildren: Wyatt and Delany Distel, Robbie & Jonny Distel, Cody & Kyla Jackson, Jon-Andrew Dalheim, Easton Vaningan, Lucas Ellingsen, and numerous other relatives.

He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Rebecca (Fiala); brothers: Edward, Cyrus, Bernie, Milford (Micky), and Richard Wheeler; sisters: Geraldine Nelson, Vera Champlin, Betty Crandall, Mary Alice Christy; daughter-in-law Jean (Doran) Wheeler and grandson Daniel Wheeler

A graveside service will be held August 12 at 11 am at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, N. Kingsville, OH.
