Thelma V. Krueger, 99, of Conneaut, passed away Sunday morning, October 8, 2017 at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home, Kingsville, OH. She was born December 17, 1917 in Conneaut, and was the daughter of Leon and Beatrice (Marks) Risley.

Thelma was a member of the former St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Conneaut. She loved shopping, eating out, especially pie, collecting jewelry, watching her stories, and being with her family.

Survivors include her nephew Roger (Nancy Dryzmala) Irish of Cherry Creek, NY; several great nieces and nephews; and her caregiver Sharon Karr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Elmer in 1985; her sister Ailleen Irish; and her close friend Kathleen Johnson.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, with Father Peter W. Nielsen, III, officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.

No calling hours will be observed.
