Theresa A. McDonald, 94, of Conneaut, passed away Monday morning, June 12, 2017, at The Villa at the Lake. She was born June 1, 1923 in Beltek, Romania, and was the daughter of Andrew and Mary (Jakkel) Mayer.

             Mrs. McDonald was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ. She and her husband owned and operated the “Custard Cup” in Arcadia, Florida for a number of years when they lived in Port Charlotte. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and being with her family.

             Survivors include her daughter Jane (Michael) Wolchonok of Wellesley, MA; two sons David (Monica) McDonald of Normal, IL, and Paul (Laura) McDonald of Weston, CT; 5 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

             She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Donald “Mac” McDonald; and her sister Mary Kemeny.

             Graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, June 24, 2017 in Glenwood Cemetery, Rt. 20, Conneaut, with Rev. Joyce Shellhammer and Rev. Frank Walford officiating. A reception will follow at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 211 Buffalo St., Conneaut.
