Alice C. Huston, 98, of Conneaut Township, PA, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020, at The Villa At The Lake in Conneaut, Ohio. She was born April 4, 1921, in Girard, PA, to Carroll U., Sr. and Fanny (Whitford) Blood.
Alice worked at the former Astatic Corp. for 18 years and married Roy H. Huston on May 21, 1955. She was an active member of State Line United Methodist Church where she served on church council, church secretary, treasurer, Sunday school teacher, and acted as secretary for board meetings. She enjoyed gardening and reading.
Alice is survived by several nieces and nephews; and her dear friends and caretakers, Sandy and Jack Ranney of Monroe Township, OH, and Diane Wright of Albion, PA.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roy; her daughter Amy Light; her son Philip Huston; three brothers Carroll Blood, Jr., Gilson, and Robert Blood; her sisters Velma Brown and Ida Williams; her sister-in-law Lee Blood; and her son-in-law Craig Light.
Calling hours will be from 1-3PM Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at State Line United Methodist Church, 7321 Bushnell Rd., Conneaut, OH.
Funeral service will also be 10:00 AM at the church on Thursday, January 30, with Rev. Larry Carr and Pat Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville, OH.
Memorial contributions may be made to State Line United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the church or at Marcy Funeral Home, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, which has charge of arrangements.
