Allen J. Tantari, Sr. 86, of Conneaut, passed away Sunday August 9, 2020, 1 month after the passing of the love of his life Carol. He was born October 18, 1933 and was the son of John I. and Thelma M. (Snyder) Tantari.
Allen honorably served in the United States Army and worked for 32 years at True Temper.
He enjoyed fishing especially for Lake Erie Perch, boating, country music, watching Cleveland Indians, his pets and being with his family.
Survivors include his children Jeanne (Scott) Neubauer, Gary (Kim) Tantari, Mick Tantari, and Tonya (Neel) Strong; his grandchildren Kimmy, Gary, Matt, Amanda, Josh, Shelby, Kelsie, and Bill; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Carol A. Tantari; and his brother Richard Tantari.
Calling hours will be held from noon until 1:00PM on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut. Due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic, masks are required, and social distancing will be observed.
Burial will be held in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville.
