Alyssa R. Reynolds-Sherman

Alyssa Reynolds-Sherman, 28, of Millcreek, PA, passed away Thursday January 26, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.  Born May 24, 1994 in Erie, PA, she was the daughter of Kevin and Rhonda (Novak) Reynolds.

Alyssa graduated from McDowell High School in 2012, Penn State in 2016 with an associate in English and the Institute of Medical and Business Careers in 2019 where she became a certified Veterinarian technician.  She worked for Erie Animal Hospital until she became ill.

She enjoyed playing video games, music, singing, swimming with her daughter Ashlynn, and animals. Alyssa had an amazing spirit that lit up a room.

  She was loved by so many “Cause I am the favorite.”  Alyssa was a Warrior who fought until the very end.  Loving husband Austin & Cuzzy Lisa are commended for the loving care they provided during her final and hardest days.  She is undoubtedly and eternally grateful. 

Survivors include her husband, Austin Sherman whom she married on August 28, 2021; daughter, Ashlynn; parents Kevin and Rhonda (Novak) Reynolds; brother, Josh (Jess) Reynolds; paternal grandmother, Ruth Hill; nieces, Rosie, Cora, and nephew Charley Reynolds; aunt, Susan (Bud) Hoag and cousins, Lisa, Kelly, and Chris Hoag.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfathers, Earl Hill and Charles Reynolds, and maternal grandparents, Joan Bernsley and Paul Novak.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00-8:00 PM Friday February 3, 2023 at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, Ohio.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday February 4, 2023 at the funeral home.

In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family in C/O Marcy Funeral Home. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
