Antoinette "Toni" (Tavone) Rogers

Antoinette “Toni” Rogers, 93 of Conneaut, passed away Monday January 20, 2020 at her home.  She was born November 18, 1926 in Conneaut. The daughter of Lawrence & Mary (Campanelli) Tavone.

Toni worked at Tavone Grocery Store in the early 50’s that her parents owned.  She then enjoyed motherhood raising her four children.

She belonged to Corpus Christi, St. Francis Cabrini Parrish and TOPS.  Toni enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Marie Vernol of New Philadelphia, Donna Pizzi of Conneaut, Robert (Terri) Rogers  and Lawrence (Theresa) Rogers both of Conneaut; grandchildren, Jennifer (Paul) Anderson, Michelle Rogers, Jonathan (Sarah) Pizzi, Michaela & Kennedy Rogers; great-grandchildren, Paul (Ashley) Anderson and Amber Anderson, Jonathan & Jaxton Pizzi and Kingston Ray; great great-granddaughter, Amellia Dolan; and sister-in-law Mary Tavone

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Rogers; siblings, Michael Tavone, Caroline Parker, Eleanor Johnson and Annie Pearson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Friday at St. Francis Cabrini, 734 Mill St. Conneaut, Ohio.  Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday at the Marcy Funeral Home, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, Ohio.

Entombment will follow the Mass at Greenlawn Memory Gardens in North Kingsville.

Memorial contributions can be made in Toni’s name to the church or to the Conneaut Food Pantry. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
