Barbara A. (English) Fritzsche

Barbara A. Fritzsche, 93 of Conneaut, OH., passed away peacefully on January 6, 2024 at the Ashtabula County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Kingsville. She was born April 4, 1930 to Floyd and Nola (Fralic) English in Conneaut.

She graduated from Conneaut High School and was a homemaker. In her pastime she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Her greatest joy was her family, spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter Cheryl Fritzsche of Conneaut; three sons Edwin (Judy) Fritzsche of Gastonia, NC., Dave Fritzsche and Dean (Angela) Fritzsche all of Conneaut; nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman who she married December 8, 1956; three sisters Thelma Gaudet, Elizabeth Hathy and Doris Bovee, one brother Richard “Dick” English and a beloved grandson Isaac Fritzsche.

Funeral Service will be 12:00 PM on Thursday, January 11, 2024 with visitation from 10:00 until the time of the service at The Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, OH 44030. The burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in North Kingsville.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to her family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
