Barbara E. (Dolan) Orrenmaa

Barbara E. Orrenmaa, 82, of North Kingsville, passed away Sunday September 6, 2020 at Country Club Retirement Campus.  She was born April 5, 1938 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of Hugh & Lorraine (Steir) Dolan.

Barbara worked for Molded Fiber Glass for sixteen year before retiring from General Electric after thirty years.   Barbara drove school bus for Buckeye and Conneaut School Systems.

She enjoyed going to Casino’s, Horse Shows, roller skating, camping all over the US and was member of numerous camping clubs, bowling for over fifty years in leagues until last year, and at state and national tournaments.  She was past secretary for the Ashtabula County Women’s Bowling Association. She also enjoyed bird watching. She belonged to the Conneaut Moose Lodge and New Leaf United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband Pete Furman; children, Shirley (Roy Heath) Narducci of Kingsville, Iona (Mike) McClintock of Conneaut, Pamula (Bobby) Barni of Alvin, TX,  Kim (Tom) Burns of Wildwood, FL and Mona (Dean) Mast of Conneaut; stepchildren, Bim Orrenmaa of Conneaut and Becky Rhodes of West Springfield, PA; grandchildren, Brian (Max) Orrenmaa, Kylie Orrenmaa, Bill (Stacia) Gilbert, Steve (Annie) Narducci, Scott Narducci, Amanda Watson, Jackie Watson, Josh Graham, Kayla (Thomas) Richards, Joe Mast, Jeff Mast and Hollie Fields; great-grandchildren, Anthony and Ismay Narducci, Ryley and Hanna Gilbert, Amanda, Tyler, Kyle, Ashley Blankenship and Haley Barni; great great-grandchildren, Iris Rose Blankenship.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bim Orrenmaa; infant son Glenn White, daughter Susan McConnell; grandsons Jeffery Orrenmaa in infancy and Joshua Barni.

Chapel service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday September 12, 2020 at Greenlawn Memory Gardens in North Kingsville.  The family will receive friends from 10:00-12:00 PM Saturday at the Marcy Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, Ohio. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, masks are required, and social distancing will be observed.

Memorial Contributions may be made to American Heart Association.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
