Betty R. (Boggs) Kahler

Betty R. Kahler, 92, of Conneaut, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at UH Conneaut Medical Center. She was born January 6, 1932 in West Springfield, PA, the daughter of Abner and Drusilla (Tallhammer) Boggs.

Betty worked for Eighmy Corporation, Astatic, and Premix. She had attended First Congregational United Church of Christ and loved crafts, could make something out of nothing, animals, dancing in her younger years, reading the paper, and spending time with her children and family.

Survivors include her son Donald Kahler of Conneaut; her sister Francis Metcalf of Michigan; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son Steven Kahler; sister Doris Lemmo and her brothers George, Al, Jim, Ralph, Ken, and Edgar Boggs.

Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Springfield Cemetery, Rt. 215, East Springfield, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the APL, 5970 Green Rd., Ashtabula, OH 44004. Envelopes will be available at the graveside service and also at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, which is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.
