Beverly A. (Dye) Spees, 86, of Conneaut, passed away November 5, 2024 at Saybrook Landing, Ashtabula, OH. She was born in Wooster, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Lillian E. (Harter) Dye.
A Conneaut resident most of her life, she was employed for thirty years at the former Kroger and Giant Eagle supermarkets as a cashier and computer operator. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and graduated from Conneaut High School in 1956. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to lunch with many of her high school friends, bowling, and watching the Cleveland Browns and Guardians, especially with her grandson Matt.
Beverly is survived by her daughters Kim Shank and Teri Kaczoroski of Conneaut, and Lori (Jim) Sieber of Erie, PA, and son Scott (Sandy) Spees of Conneaut; thirteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren; nephew Shawn (Kim) Dye of Colorado; niece Stacy Dye of Oregon; and great niece Avery Dye of Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Curtis in 2015; brother Donald Dye in 2022; sister-in-law Jo Ann Dye in 2020; and son-in-law Bob Kaczoroski in 2019.
At Beverly’s request, there will be no calling hours or services. Both she and Curtis will be buried at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Kingsville, OH at the convenience of the family. The Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Saybrook Landing and Bella Care Hospice for their support and care for Beverly during her stay there for the past two years.
