Bonnie A (Peterson) Howell

Bonita “Bonnie” A. Howell, 66 of Conneaut, OH, passed away peacefully June 1, 2024 at Ashtabula County Medical Center. She was born January 31, 1958 in Conneaut to George and Evelyn (Hurst) Peterson.

Bonnie was a Conneaut High School graduate and worked for many years as a court coordinator for the Harris County Court system in Houston, TX.

She enjoyed gardening and beautifully landscaped her home, and had a huge heart for animals. She was very creative, loved crafting, and giving gifts to others. But most of all she loved her family especially her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and granddogs.

She is survived by her husband Lou whom she married July 18, 2002; her daughter Nichole Rivera of Los Angeles, California; two step sons Dane (Barbara) Howell of Columbus, GA and Scottie (Patricia Bernard) Howell of Madison, OH; five sisters Linda Hall of Conneaut, Grace (Richard) Tuuri of Conneaut, Diane (William) Berakamp of Erie, Peggy (Allen) Blood of Birmingham, AL, and Stacey (Eddie) Barlow of Chardon; her brother George (Sandra Kay) Peterson of Conneaut; five grandchildren Jacob, Austin, Gavin, Michael and Annie; and her faithful and loving dog Donut.

Bonnie was preceded by her parents, mother-in-law Sara Howell and brother-in-law Willard Hall.

A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday June 5, 2024 at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, OH who has been entrusted with her arrangements.

An hour of visitation will be from 10:00AM until the time of service at 11:00.
