Cameron Curtis Chike, May 1, 1993-May 14, 2023

No more painful tears will you have to cry. Gone to soon, only God knows why.  Your worldly struggles have come to an end.  Our shattered hearts will never mend.  We promise to keep your memory anew.  Not a day will go by that we won’t think of you.  Ayden and Jace will carry on your name.  We will all be here to comfort their pain.  Stories of greatness we will continue to share.  Until we all leave this earth and join you there.  The burdens you carried were not your own.  Just know that you can rest in peace and for this tragedy you will not be known.  You will be remembered as the things you truly were a loving Dad, a great friend, smiling face, a phenomenal athlete, charming soul, hard worker, and a humble man.

Cameron was a proud father who loved his boys with all his heart.  He enjoyed spending time with his family.  He loved being outdoors fishing and riding ATVs.  He worked for TLC Asphalt & Sealcoating alongside his cousins Jimmy Peck and Michael Riffle.  He helped with The Weekender Motel renovation project with Mark Landsberger Builders.

You leave behind so many who love you.  Your forever love Roxanne Dunbar, and your two precious boys, Ayden and Jace Chike.  Parents Bradley Chike and Carol Charma-Pinney; your sissy Sky Coy (the late Mark Landsberger), your brother, Michael Chamra II, your nieces, Passion (Craig) Johnson, Faith Perry, Hope (Kenny) Mescall, Lani Lassiter, Lillie Chamra, nephew, Michael Chamra III, and lots of aunts and uncles, cousins and great friends.

Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Harold E. Coy & Phyllis S. Coy, niece, Angel Destiny Coy, great niece, Evelyn Grace Mescall, aunts, Kim Coy, and Pauline, uncles Steve & Ronnie, paternal grandparents, Michael & Louise Chike, uncles Timothy Chike, David and Keith Chike, and uncle Denny Ridnour, and cousin Jackie Sizemore.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Thursday May 18, 2023 at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, Ohio 44030.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday May 19, 2023 at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Dorset Cemetery.

The family suggest memorial contributions may be made to the family in c/o of Marcy Funeral Home.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
