Carl Adams Obituary

Carl Adams, 76, of Conneaut, passed away Wednesday evening, March 12,2025. He was born February 25,1949 in Albion, PA, the son of Lonnie, and Ollie (Benjamin) Adams Sr.

Carl graduated from Northwestern and went on to be a truck driver coast to coast for many years owning his own semi-truck. Also, owning his own small business many years ago as ‘carls lawn care’ He was a member of the Conneaut Church of God and the teamsters.  

Carl enjoyed motorcycles, especially his spider, old cars, cooking and baking, watching all Ohio sports teams no matter the season, tinkering in his garage, many outdoorsy activities, being around family, and spending time with his grandkids often. Carl was always eager to learn and take up a new hobby.  before COVID he took guitar lessons and continued to often to play and took interest in collecting guitars, he had a love for music, mainly Jazz.

Carl had an infectious smile and happiness towards others that brightened the lives of many around him and always cracked a joke to keep friends and family laughing.

Survivors include his daughter Karen Adams of Conneaut; granddaughter Nicole Bokan of Rock Creek; grandsons Trent Lyons of Austin, TX, Cameron Lyons of Ashtabula, and Nicholas Bokan of Conneaut; great grandchildren  Temari Lyons, Ivyanna Clark, Cashton Barnes, Zayden Bokan, and Jeriah Lyons; brothers Lonnie (Doretha) Adams, Jr, and Harold (Gloria) Adams, both of Albion; and his faithful companion MoMo, his beloved chihuahua.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Tona (Wolford) Adams; his daughter Ollie Adams; and his brother Donald Adams.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be 2:00-4:00 pm, April 3, 2025 at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, OH 4403.
