Carol A. (Roland) Chirakos

Carol A. Chirakos, 83, of Ashtabula passed away August 12, 2022 at her home surrounded by family.   Born February 22, 1939 in Conneaut, she was the daughter of Adam and Mary (Manz) Roland.

Carol worked for various employers throughout the years, including Loblaws, Astatic Corp., ACMC and most recently Fuller Apartments.

She belonged to Conneaut Church of God.

Survivors include her children, Cheri Getce and Gary Dell, Jr.’ grandchildren, Tiffany (Shawn) Braden, Angela Ross, Brittany (Corey) Hamilton, Riley (Crystal) Dell, Shawn Knox, and James ( Monica) Bowen, great-grandchildren, Madisyn and Emma Braden, Jonah and Adrianna Ross, RJ Dell, Aiden, Kylie, Mason, and Liam Bowen; stepchildren, Sam and Tony Chirakos and Sylvia Dorsey; best friends, Martha Griswald, and Margie Lamb.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Patricia Dell, husband Robert Chirakos, grandson Shawn Smith, sisters, Betty Ann Williams, Virginia Gagat, Marie Riley and Catherine Hunt, son in law, Fred Getce.

Private graveside service will be held for the family.

The arrangements have been entrusted to the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St. Conneaut.
