Carol “Noah” JoAnn McGahey, 70, of Conneaut, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Pine Grove Healthcare Center in Geneva, OH. She was born April 15, 1955, the daughter of Kenneth and Lillian (Johnson) Harris.
She spent many years working as a laborer for General Aluminum before dedicating herself to private home care. In her younger days, she loved playing softball, and throughout her life she found joy in the outdoors, camping, fishing, gardening, and traveling. She enjoyed shooting pool, had a deep affection for horses, and especially cherished her trips to the Kentucky Derby.
Noah loved spending time with her best friend Wayne at Dr. Feelgoods, getting people together for cookouts and had her own business for a short time called Noah’s Wing Dings. Noah had a love for people, and you always knew exactly where you stood with her.
Survivors include her daughters Brenda Harris of Ashtabula, T-Mara Harris of Conneaut; her son Kenneth “Pete” Harris of Erie, PA; grandchildren Sean Harris, Ernie Harris, Tia Harris, Mariah Williams, and Harlem Zeitler; great-grandchildren Jaye’ Sean Porterfield, Cincere McElroi, Sereniti Seawood, Journee’ Seawood, and Elva and Nora Harris; and sisters Kim Harris of Ashtabula and Phyllis Harris-Bumpers of Buffalo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and numerous siblings.
Celebration of life will be 2:00-6:00 PM, Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the Conneaut Eagles Lodge #408, 171 Main St., Conneaut, OH, 44030
