Chester D. "Denny" Fosburg

Chester Dennis Fosburg 82, passed peacefully into the presence of our wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ on

March 25, 2021. Denny was born in Pennsylvania, the son of Chester and Frances (Specht) Fosburg.

Denny graduated from West Springfield, PA High School and then served his country proudly in the United States Marines. He had a career as an engineer on the Bessemer Railroad and afterwards a career as a welder that he greatly enjoyed. Denny also had a great love for the outdoors; hunting, fishing, gardening, and building this with his hands.

Denny will be greatly missed but always in the hearts of his children: Jackie Kauppila (Joel), Kathy Taylor (Tim), Skip Fosburg (Bridget) and his grandchildren: Tom Kauppila, Krissy Lechleiter (Michael), Timmy Kauppila (Ashley), Bethany Kauppila, Mike Taylor (Mandy), Heather Edwards (Daniel), Megan Fosburg and great grandchildren: Gracie Kauppila, Jackson Taylor, and Camden Edwards.

Denny is preceded in death by his beloved son, Thomas Fosburg and brother, Steven Fosburg.

There will be a private service held at the Marcy’s Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in East Conneaut Cemetery with military honors rendered by Conneaut American Legion Cowle Post 151.

In honor of Denny’s love for his son, whom they lost to Leukemia, memorial contributions can be made in Denny’s name to St. Jude’s Hospital of which he has supported for many years.
