Christopher Wiggins Obituary

Christopher “Chris” Wiggins, 70, of Conneaut, passed away Friday, November 7, 2025, at UH Cleveland Medical Center. He was born on August 21, 1955, in Conneaut, Ohio, the son of Bill Wiggins and Nancy (Smith) Batchelor.

Chris worked as an electrician for General Aluminum, where he dedicated many years of hard work before retiring in 2012. He was the former owner of Sound Advice and installed stereo equipment in many vehicles of local residents.

A lifelong resident of Conneaut, Chris enjoyed collecting coins, watching all Cleveland sports teams, cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes, and spending time with his beloved cat, Vivian. One of his biggest accomplishments was bowling a 300 game at El Camp Lanes.

Survivors include his mother and step-father Nancy and Douglas Batchelor of Conneaut; son, Christopher Wiggins; sister Wendy (Brian) DuBey of Conneaut; brother Thomas Batchelor of Conneaut; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Bill, sister Tracy Walker, nephew Sgt. Thomas Cole Walker, grandparents Tom and Isla Howard, and uncle Jake Smith.

Vitiation will be 5:00-7:00 PM, Monday, November 17, 2025 at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, which is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Contributions may be made in Chris’s memory to the Ashtabula County Animal Protective League, 5970 Green Rd., Ashtabula, OH 44004. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
