Clancy Vincent McCall

Clancy Vincent McCall, 69, of Pierpont, passed away April 12, 2023 at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home. He was born April 15, 1953 in Erie, PA, the son of Patricius and MaryAnn (Hicks) McCall.

Clancy was a retired maintenance supervisor for Lancer. He was a member of the Springfield VFW. He was a wonderful musician and enjoyed playing guitar, singing, and song writing. He also enjoyed bird watching, tinkering, inventing, and making things, and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his daughters Jessi (Rob) Hall of Ashtabula, and Maggie (Chris-estranged) Bilbrey of Pierpont; grandchildren Jacob Hall, Jaret Hall, Brandon Bilbrey, Hailey Bilbrey, and Jillian Hall. He helped raise a niece and two nephews Kathie, Phil, and Casey McCall; their 11 children had a special place in his heart. Also surviving is his sister Kathleen (Bob) Caldwell of Conneaut; his brother Patrick (Darlene) McCall of Conneaut; and his half-brother Billy Buchner of Erie.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Katherine; and his brother Philip McCall.

A Wake/Celebration of Life will be held at the Conneaut Eagles Club, 171 Main St. Conneaut, Ohio, Sunday, April 23rd from 3:00 - 5:00.

Contributions may be made in Clancy's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105. Envelopes will be available at the service and at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, which has been entrusted with arrangements.
