Clarence P. "Dusty" Baugher

Clarence P. “Dusty” Baugher, Jr., 92, of Conneaut, passed away March 8, 2023 at the Kremer Home in Conneaut.  Born December 17, 1930 in Conneaut, he was the son of Clarence Sr. and Elizabeth (Titus) Baugher.

He graduated from Edgewood High School class of 1948. Clarence served in US Coast Guard after his discharge he served in the Army National Guard, after his honorable discharge, he went to work for the Conneaut Water Department, then moved to the new Conneaut sewer department where he was Superintendent and moved on and retired from Unisom in 1992.

He belonged to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Amateur Radio Club, Lake Erie Boat Club, Amboy Rifle Club, Solon Rifle Club, Evergreen Masonic Lodge #222, Conneaut Elks #256, the Republican Club, and was a city of Conneaut Councilman at large.

Clarence was a licensed pilot, enjoyed amateur radio, riding his Indian motorcycle, firearms, golfing at Windy Hills golf course where he served as a ranger.

Survivors include his children, Karen (Jay) Brown, Linda (Rod) McGhee, Patricia (Roger) Rugg and Sharon (Arnie Carlson) Baugher; five grandchildren, ten  great-grandchildren, and one great great-granddaughter; brother, Earl Baugher.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wives, Clarice, Sandra, and Irene; brother, David.

Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon Saturday March 11, 2023 at Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Kelloggsville Cemetery, Monroe Twp., with military honors conducted by American Legion Cowle Post 151.
