Curtis L. Bish

Curtis L. Bish, 89, of Conneaut, OH, died on March 11, 2024 at home surrounded by family. He was born February 20, 1935 to King and Blanch (Irvin) Bish in Lochgelly, West Virginia.

Curtis was a hard worker his entire life and retired in 1991 as a crane mechanic from Elkem Metals.

He was a member of Gageville Methodist Church and enjoyed old cars and fishing when he could, sitting on the front porch and talking with neighbors. Most of all, he was a true family man, he loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.

 Curtis is survived by three daughters Dianna (Dean) Barnhart of Athens, OH., Linda (Dennis) Bennett of Conneaut, OH., and Reschell Brennan of Tampa, FL; grandchildren Angie Bish, Danny Bish, Jr., Dana Smith, Courtney Walker, Tracy Partee, Donnie Partee, Tiffany Deary, Lynn Bennett, Josie Potter, Denny Bennett, Steven Gonda, and Patrick Brennan and many great and great-great grandchildren; and his beloved dog Morkie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Shirley, second wife Eddie, son Danny and siblings Sareda, Dorothy, Jessie, Margaret, Carol, Violet, Betty, Jimmy, David and Phillip.

Funeral service will be Monday 12:00PM, March 18, 2024 with an hour of calling hour from 11:00AM until the time of service at the Marcy Funeral Home, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, OH 44030 who has been entrusted with his arrangements.

Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville, Ohio.
