Cynthia A. Chess, 53, of Conneaut, passed away after her courageous battle with cancer, Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at UH Geauga Hospital. She was born February 28, 1967 in Berea, OH, the daughter of Wesley and Marie (Kuntz) Boroski, Sr.
Cynthia graduated from Conneaut High School and worked as the store supervisor for Burger King.
She enjoyed fishing, camping, the outdoors, attending Off Road races, playing cornhole and poker, and dancing. Most of all, she enjoyed being with her friends and her family.
Survivors include her husband Ken P. Chess, whom she married June 10, 1998; her daughters Ashley Taylor of Cleveland and Samantha Taylor of Ashtabula; her step-daughter Amanda (Ted) Chess-Bly of Erie; her grandchildren Riley Jarvi, Britney Jarvi, and Alli Badell; her sisters Theresa (David) Cochran of Westfield, NY, Mauresa (Richard) Tosatto of Akron, and Michelle (Gene) Dloniak of Westfield, NY; her brothers Wesley (Natalie) Boroski, Jr. of Conneaut, and Tony (Jennifer) Boroski of Conneaut; her mother-in-law June Chess of Conneaut; and sister-in-law Martha (Michael) Jones of Ashtabula.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law Harold Chess.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
