Danny S. Theiss

Danny S. Theiss, 73 of Austinburg, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday August 9, 2023.  Born June 30, 1950 in Conneaut, Ohio he was the son of Donald and Catherine (Kako) Theiss.

Danny was a self-employed contractor.  He was a former board member on the Ashtabula County Builders Association and a member of the Ashtabula Rod and Gun Club.

He especially loved spending time with his family, enjoyed animals and feeding the birds.

Survivors include his wife Paige (DeHelian); children, Melissa Efantis and Mike (Arianne) Theiss; grandchildren, Brandon, Alexander, and Michaela Bryan; Carola and Annika Theiss; stepmother, B.G. Theiss; siblings, Tim (Cheryl) Theiss and Debbie Eaton; sister-in-law Debbie Theiss; Aunt Genevieve Dietrich; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mike Theiss, brother-in-law Bob Eaton and his nephew, Josh Eaton.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, August 14, 2023 at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., where the family will receive from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at a later date in LuLu Falls Cemetery, Kingsville.

In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
