David M. Yusko, 86, of Andover, passed away Thursday evening, November 11, 2021 at Saybrook Landing, Ashtabula, OH. He was born May 27, 1935 in Erie, PA, and was the son of Michael and Mary (Wheeler) Yusko.
David was a member of the United States Navy serving from 1952- 1956. After his honorable discharge, David returned to Conneaut and became a locomotive engineer for Penn Central, Conrail, and also Nickel Plate Railroad, retiring August 27, 1997 after 41 years.
He was a member of the Andover Eagles Club, a life member of the VFW, the Girard American Legion Post 494, life member of the National Rifle Association, and life member of the National American Hunting Club. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, and Nascar.
Survivors include his brother John (Jeanette) Yusko, and sisters Nancy (Tom) Murphy, Debra (Larry) Spruck, and Verna (Merrill) Hamilton; and his friend Lionel Thornton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son John Yusko; his daughter Robin Yusko; and his brother James Richard Yusko.
Funeral service will be 7:00 PM, Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday, 5:00 PM until the time of the service at 7:00 PM.
