Dennis L Bennett

Dennis L. Bennett, 72 of Conneaut, OH passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 10, 2025 at home. He was born July 12, 1952 in Erie, PA to Lyle and Dorla (Joslin) Bennett.

He was a graduate of Conneaut High School class 1971 and worked at LukJan Metals in Conneaut, retiring in 2007.

Dennis was a member of Conneaut Moose Lodge #472 and enjoyed camping at Lake Village in Andover, hunting, fishing on his boat, animals and most of all being surrounded by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Linda whom he married April 5,1975; children Lynn Bennett of Ashtabula, OH., Tiffany (Ken) Deary of Henderson, TX, Josie (Jessie) Potter of Conneaut, OH and Dennis (Melissa) Bennett II of Westerville, OH; his mother Dorla Bennett of Conneaut, OH; grandchildren Cody, Samantha, Sydney, Taylor, Carson and T.J.; great grandchildren Kase, Axel, Elaina, Sienna and Archer; and Sister Brenda (Roy) Waite of Conneaut, OH.

Preceding him is death was his father, maternal and paternal grandparents and his beloved dogs Gizmo and Pepe.

It was Dennis’s wish to be cremated and there are to be no other services. The burial will take place at a later date in East Conneaut Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made in his name to the Ashtabula County Animal Protective League. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
