Diana Elizabeth (Quinn) Smith-Millett

Diana Elizabeth Smith-Millett, 78, of Conneaut, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023. She was born November 29, 1944, in Conneaut, OH, the daughter of Donald and Margaret (Logue) Quinn.

Diana worked as the produce manager at Orlando Brothers Golden Dawn for many years and was loved by all her coworkers. In her early years she enjoyed sailing Hobie Cat’s with her husband Rick. In addition to sailing, she also loved to cook, shopping, having lunch with her classmates, candles, and fresh flowers and visiting local wineries. Most of all, spending time with her granddaughter.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Millett; whom she married July 11, 2009; her daughter Christine Quinn of Columbus; her son John (Terra) Kessler of Cleveland; granddaughter Madison (Dwight Pettigrew) Quinn of Columbus; and Terri (Butch) Eaton, who was like a daughter to her, and her children Nathan and Nicholas (Molly) Eaton, their son Ashton; step-daughters Jamie (Justin) Prete of Pittsburgh, PA and Carrie (Timothy) Sheilds of New Brighton, PA and step-grandchildren Noah and Laurie Myers, Reagan, Oliver and Lydia Sheilds.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Glenwood Cemetery, Rt. 20, Conneaut, with Pastor Tim Kraus officiating.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut.

Contributions may be made in Diana’s memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Ave. Ashtabula, OH 44004. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and at the graveside service.
