Donna Jean Thompson

Donna J. Thompson, 88, of Saybrook, Ohio passed away Tuesday August 21, 2018 at Saybrook Landing.  She was born October 5, 1929 in Warren, Ohio, to the late Walter H. & Leola E. (Powers) Parshall.  On August 7, 1950 she married Glenn Alva Thompson who died on July 7, 2013.  Donna is survived by children, Donald (Suzie) Thompson of Kingsville, Sandra (Doug) Bowers of Ashtabula and Judith (Louis) Verdi of Marietta, Ohio; twelve grandchildren, Rebecca (Mark) Bartone, Tracy (Terry) Foltz, Jessica (Chis) Brundage, Julie (Terry) Stewart, Jennifer (Deihl) Betz, James (Kristen) Lamson, Joseph (Keri) Lamson, Glenn (Kaylea) Lamson, Leah Ford, Darrell Thompson, Rachel Thompson and Sarah Thompson twelve great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families.  She was called Mom or Grandma by many others whose lives she touched.   She was preceded in death by her husband; parents and a daughter, Valinda Lamson in 2011 and one infant granddaughter, Laura Lynn Lamson in 1972.  Graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday September 1, 2018 at Kelloggsville Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Marcy Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St. Conneaut.  Please sign the guestbook at www.marcyfuneralhome.com
