Doris F. (Teppo) Tackett

Doris F. Tackett, 69, of Conneaut, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019 at UH Conneaut Medical Center. She was born June 7, 1950 in Springboro, PA., and was the daughter of Urho and June (Ruland) Teppo.

Doris worked several years as street department secretary for the City of Conneaut. She loved horses and cats. Most of all, her greatest love was her family, having gatherings with the kids over to swim and ride 4-wheelers.

Survivors include her son Jim (Angela) Tackett of Boardman; her grandchildren Alex and Sara Tackett of Boardman; her sister Mary (Gary) McLaughlin of Kingsville; her brother Matt Teppo of Kingsville; nieces and nephews Jen McConnell, Rick McLaughlin, Gary McLaughlin, Josh, Mike, and Jon Teppo; and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Tom Tackett in 2015; and her brother James Sprague.

At Doris’s request, no services will be observed.
