Duane T. Crandall, 56, of Ashtabula, died Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Carington Park Nursing Home. He was born August 7, 1961 in Erie, PA, and was the son of Duane Crandall and Carolyn (Caldwell) Bordner.
Duane was a former member of the Conneaut Eagles #408, and was involved with leading many activities at Carington Park, where he had also been the Vice President of their resident counsel.
He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Bordner of Conneaut; his father Duane
(Donna) Crandall of Kingsville; sisters Michele Crandall, Cherie (Charles Hawn) Fultz both of Conneaut, and Lorie (Jeff Joslin) Mowry of Ashtabula; Brothers, Robert Crandall of Grafton and Paul (Darlene) Bordner of Geneva; half-sister Dawn Crandall of Ashtabula; half-brother, Bradley Crandall of Kingsville OH; stepfather Paul (Penny) Bordner of Monroe Twp.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and nephews Bradley Crandall and Russell Luce.

Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 5, 2018 in Springfield, Cemetery, East Springfield, PA.
A Celebration of Life will be held this summer and will be announced by the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, which has been entrusted with arrangements.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Ave. Ashtabula, OH 44004. Envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
