Duane Robert Wheeler

Duane Robert Wheeler, 82, of Conneaut, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2019 at the Cleveland Clinic. 

Duane was born in Conneaut, Ohio to Marion and Gerould Wheeler on November 21, 1937. 

Duane served in the National Guard for three years, training in Erie, PA.

He married Shirley Ann Fry on March 2, 1957. Duane and Shirley enjoyed the better part of their 62 year marriage in Conneaut, where they worked, raised a family and formed many friendships.

Duane is survived by his wife Shirley; daughters, Robbin (Richard) Garcia, Tina (Andy) Slapnicker, Kim (Doug) Speer; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Douglas Wheeler.

At Mr. Wheeler’s request no calling hours or services will be held.
