Obituary

Edward “Ed’ Macey, 69 of Plymouth Twp., passed away unexpectedly Saturday January 30, 2021 at home.  Ed was born November 16, 1951 in Conneaut, Ohio the son of Edward & Charlotte (Georgia) Macey, Sr.

Ed graduated from Conneaut High School class of 1970.  He owned and operated his North Shore Roofing.

Ed enjoyed collecting PEZ dispensers, going to Flea markets, classic cars, watching Star Wars movies and enjoyed the Halloween holiday.

Survivors include his wife Diane (Hogue); children, Mark Macey and Sarah (Greg) Macey; grandchildren, Alex and Leeann; siblings, Linda (Richard) Towne, Norma Stellmach, Patty Edwards and Bonnie (Don) Brain; and his beloved dog Yoda.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his two sons, Patrick and Russ.

At Ed’s request no calling hours or service will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

The arrangements have been entrusted to the Marcy Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut.
