Ethelyn "Jeannie" (Siders) Mundkowsky

Ethelyn “Jeannie” Mundkowsky, 84, of West Springfield, passed away Monday, December 18, 2023. She was the daughter of Paul David and Alice (Moose) Siders.

Years ago, Jeannie worked as executive secretary for Reliance Electric, and had worked for Marc’s Toys. She was a member of the former West Springfield United Methodist Church and enjoyed square dancing, word searches, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, David Mundkowsky; sons Jeffery (Debra Susan) Specht of San Antonio, TX, Trevor John (Gayle) Specht of Washington, DC, and Travis J. (Giovanna Inga) Specht of Waldwick, NJ; step-daughters Sharon Rohm of Chippewa Lake, OH, Catheryn (Ronald) Dobbins of Brunswick, OH, and Peggy Sue (Scott) Andryszak of Copley, OH; step-son David Marc (Shawna) Mundkowsky of W. Springfield, PA; daughter-n-law Rosalie Specht of Painesville, OH; seventeen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Paul Specht; brothers Neil, Art, Robert, Dave, and Hank Siders; and sisters LaRue Thompson and Mae Godfrey.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
