Evelyn J. (Conner) Mosgrove

Evelyn J. Mosgrove, 89, of Conneaut, passed away August 21, 2020 at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home in Kingsville, OH. She was born July 12, 1931 in Canonsburg, PA, and was the daughter of Rev. Byron and Thelma (Shober) Conner.

Evelyn was a secretary for North East Ohio Insurance and a member of New Leaf United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and was a member of many church groups. She was an accomplished pianist and played for many people. She sang with the Sweet Adelines and the church choir and loved music. Evelyn was the kindest, most generous person was loved by so many.

Survivors include her husband Harold Mosgrove who she married June 12, 1954; her daughter Susan Wilber of Conneaut; her sons David B. Mosgrove and Kevin C. Mosgrove both of Conneaut, and Richard L. (Jacquelyn) Mosgrove of Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; her sister Lois Cottle of Jefferson, PA; her brother Danny (Phyllis) Conner of Rockwood, PA; and many nieces, nephews, and more distant relatives.

Memorial service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Thursday, August 27, 2020 at New Leaf United Methodist Church, 110 Gateway Ave., Conneaut, with Pastor Jan Walsh officiating. With the current Covid-19 Pandemic, masks are required, and social distancing will be observed.

Contributions may be made to New Leaf United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the service and also at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut.
