George LaMont Obituary

George LaMont, 66 of Conneaut passed away unexpectedly Friday April 10, 2020 at his home. He was born March 16, 1954 in Conneaut, Ohio. The son of Lyle LaMont, Sr. and Ida (Hill) LaMont.

George served in the US Navy before being honorably discharged. George worked for C.S.P. as a lead die setter until his recent retirement.

He was a lifelong hunting and fishing enthusiast. He also loved to ride his Harley.

George is survived by his wife Debbie; mother Ida Wayne; siblings, Jocelyn LaMont and Lyle “Rusty” (Connie) LaMont; stepsons, Michael (Ann) Berry and Shawn (Jessica) Berry; four grandchildren; five nephews, Jimmy, Jason Dustin, Gabe and Woody. George was a great uncle.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Greg LaMont.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, A Celebration of life will be held at a later time.
