In addition, he directed the Ashtabula Town Choir, a community men’s chorus, for over 20 years.  He was a member of the Ashtabula Symphonic Band for 20+ years and directed the band from 1995-2000.  George was also involved with both the Kilpi Chorus and Community Band at the Conneaut Community center, performing summer concerts as well as the annual Madrigal Dinner.
