Gloria J. (Hunt) Humphreys

Gloria J. Humphreys, 75, of Conneaut, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024 at UH Geauga Medical Center. She was born November 27, 1948 in Erie, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Elmer Hunt and Evelyn (Bouck) Kimmy.

She was most recently employed at Perkins Restaurant in Conneaut, and previously worked for Crawford Container.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Carl Humphreys; three children Tina (Bryan) Brown, Ronald Young, Jr., and Donna (Eric) Newhart; two stepchildren Virginia (Chris) Hicks, and Donald Humphreys; her eight grandchildren Russell (Laura) Bidwell, Trista Read, Alex (Andrea) Read, Kiersten (Randy) Petrovic, Ryan Young, Erica Newhart, Joshua (Bobbye Leigh) Newhart, Ralena Hicks; and her thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather H. Walter Kimmy; her brother John Hunt; her sister Margaret (Peggy) Darty; and her daughter Christine Young.
