Hershel Spencer, Jr. Obituary

Hershel L. Spencer Jr, 46, of Conneaut, Ohio passed away peacefully, January 29, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born in Erie, PA on October 17, 1976 to Susan (Sartin) Spencer.

Hershel was a very talented woodworker who enjoyed making custom signs, specialty flags and pet urns as a hobby. He always loved loud cars and 4-wheelers, and this past summer was able to attend his first ever Nascar race. His favorite band was Metallica and he enjoyed playing World of Warcraft in his spare time. He devoted his life to his wife and 3 daughters, who were the true loves of his life. He loved taking his family to places especially the trips to Lake Erie or Pymatuning Spillway to feed the fish and ducks and going to Waldameer each summer. He was deeply loved and will be truly missed by those who were close to him, especially his family and friends.

Surviving Hershel is his wife Amanda (Palmer) whom he met in 1999 and married on February 11, 2006, together they have three beautiful daughters Amara, Maddalen and Kiara; brother Chris (Brittany) Spencer of McKean, PA, and a niece Skylar Spencer.

Preceding him in death was his mother Susan and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Per his request, the family will not hold any services at the funeral home, at this time.

The Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, OH has been entrusted with arrangements.
