Howard E English

Howard E. English, 84, of Conneaut passed away Sunday December 4, 2022 at Lake Pointe Nursing Home following complication of Alzheimer’s. He was born August 27, 1938 in Conneaut, Ohio the son of John and Luella (Benson) English.

Howard graduated from Conneaut High School and entered the United States Navy. Following his honorable discharge, he worked for many years at PHB as a machinist.

He enjoyed watching TV, especially the Cleveland sports teams and spending time at home.

Survivors include his wife Linda (Rickard); daughter Mandy (Volker) Schlemminger of Oxford, AL and stepdaughter, Kelly Kapen Tredway of Liberty, MO; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and 5 brothers and sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings.

There will be no services observed.

Memorial contributions can be made in Howard’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.

The family would like to give a special ”Thank You” to Rosemary, his home health assistant for the exceptional care she provided to Howard the last three years.

The arrangements have been entrusted to the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut.
